App sends data remotely

A new app allows teachers to access and record data directly into their school information management system from their iPhone, iPod or iPad. Sims Emerge, developed by Capita Sims and Groupcall, means that details on attendance and behaviour can be entered remotely and synchronised with the school’s system when the device comes into contact with the school’s wireless internet.
