Identity checks on pupils’ eyes

RETINAL scanning will be used to check the identity of pupils at a new Sunderland secondary school when they buy lunch or borrow books. The advanced eye-recognition technology will be introduced at the Venerable Bede Church of England school in Ryhope when its pound;14.5 million building opens in September.
