How can anyone have any confidence in the “independence” of the Nuffield Foundation review of 14 to 19 provision (TES, December 5) when two of its members, Ann Hodgson and Ken Spours, are also on the Government’s Tomlinson Taskforce, which you also report is “drawing up plans for a baccalaureate-style diploma to replace GCSEs and A-levels”?
