Industrial action set to continue

The industrial action announced last week by the NUT and NASUWT over teachers' pay, pensions and working conditions will go on indefinitely and could escalate if the Westminster government fails to yield, union leaders in England have warned. It will include a crackdown on what unions call "excessive" lesson observations by school leaders.
