ADVICE REQUEST

She needs advice on how to inform teachers effectively about the availability of such materials and on efficient methods of distribution. CHILD SIGHT APPEAL Half a million children a year lose their sight in the developing world, approximately one every minute. A diet richer in vitamin A, immunisation against measles and simple eye care would reduce this number by 75 per cent. Sight Savers is working towards this reduction by running a Pounds 1 million appeal for its projects in Africa and Asia. Schools can book a slide show outlining the campaign from: Sue Castle, 0444 415866.
