FROM 11 JANUARY AGORA PROJECT: FREEICT TRAINING People who work in the arts world can get pound;3,000-worth of free training in information and communications technology for a three-month period at the Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London EC2. A “smart card” will be issued upon registration, entitling them to 40 hours training tailored to their requirements from using the Internet to cyber skills and videoconferencing. LONDON MARATHON 1999 Tenovus, the cancer charity, has a limited number of guaranteed places for the Marathon and is looking for fit, enthusiastic professionals to fill them. You would need to raise a minimum of pound;1,300 in sponsorship for the charity. Details: Christine Macarthy, 01222 621433.
