The European Voluntary Service, co-ordinated by Suffolk County Council, is looking for 25 young adults aged 18 to 25 from East Anglia to live and work in another European country. Assignments might include: helping to protect the dwindling black bear population in Greece or conservation project work in Italy. Each volunteer will receive a monthly allowance of about pound;30 and travel, insurance, accommodation and food costs. Training is offered prior to and during volunteers’ period away with a debrief and employment advice on their return. Details: Peter Brasier, 01449 720703.
