Inspectors target Catholic weapons

YOUR correspondent wonders if university entrance depends on whether an applicant's school has weapons of mass instruction (TES, March 14).

Roman Catholic schools specialise in mass instruction; does this give them an advantage or disadvantage and are others left without a prayer? Have inspectors yet found and destroyed anybody's weapons of mass instruction? It's a tough world.
