Inspiration requires respiration

I wonder if any of your other readers have noticed, while combing through the new national curriculum Orders, that there is no evidence at all of the words “breath”, “breathe”, or “breathing” under Life Processes and Living Things in key stages 1 and 2 science. Teeth, blood, reproduction, drug abuse, ecosystems and much more are well covered, but the very thing by which God brought Adam to life no longer seems to be of any importance. Is this an oversight on the part of Sir Ron and his crew or is it a deliberate characteristic of a lifeless curriculum? I think we should be told.

PS. Do we hold our breath for the next five years before this can be changed?
