The Diary is kicking itself for missing what has been billed as “the most intense lecture of your life”. Edinburgh Fringe veteran and business lecturer “stunning” Nick Mayhew has just taken his multi-media presentation “Tall, Dark, Handsome and No 1” to three universities in the north-west.
“Mind-blowing”, “critically-acclaimed” and a “spectacular visual display” were the claims made of the show. Scepticism arises only because of the identity of its promoters - the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
The Diary suspects the offer of free food and booze was probably the real clincher for most students.
