The photograph on page 19 of TES (27 January) shows a parent holding a toddler upside down by his ankle. Whoever took or chose this picture deserves the award for “conduct that deserves a ticking off”. Note that I do not use the term “naughty step” as this is a term and concept I strongly disagree with.
