* Talk to them about recent developments in mobile phones: text messaging, predictive text, conferencing and other innovations. Ask them to devise a mobile phone for someone in a particular career or activity.

* Research the lives and work of Alexander Graham Bell, James Maxwell, Jagadish Chandra Bose and Guiglemo Marconi.
