Japanese seek tips on helping the blind

A delegation of Japanese academics has asked Surrey County Council to teach them about support for blind and partially sighted children in education. The group hosted county council staff in London. Peter Martin, Surrey County Council's cabinet member for schools and learning, said: "It's testament to Surrey County Council's reputation that academics from as far away as Japan want to learn from us."
