It was patently clear both to the judges with their professional expertise and to anyone who can put one foot in front of the other that Aled Jones’s performance was streets ahead of Julian Clary’s in the semi-final of Strictly Come Dancing.
Yet Julian won the greater share of the vote.
Are we now beginning to see the fruits of the revolution in educational standards inspired by the new national curriculum with Julian definitely deserving his A* award?
