Children will run top businesses as part of an annual event organised by Sir Al Aynsley-Green, the children’s commissioner for England. The 11 Million Takeover Day gives children and young people the chance to work alongside alongside adults in schools and businesses and get involved in decision making. Those being taken over include Ed Balls, Schools Secretary, and Delyth Morgan, children’s minister. At the event, on Friday, November 6, children will work in police forces, fire brigades, local councils and hospitals. Last year 17,000 children and 700 organisations took part.
