Labour breaks manifesto pledge

Labour has broken its manifesto pledge to increase the share of national income spent on education, according to Don Foster, Liberal Democrat education spokesman. Latest figures show, he said, that in the final year of this Parliament they plan to spend just pound;3 billion more than the Tories were expected to.
