Mrs A teaches in a Bristol junior school and is still considering whether to vote Liberal Democrat or Labour.

She has always been Labour but is “wavering a bit” because she is concerned about David Blunkett. She is quite persuaded by Lib Dem policy but says: “I’m still thinking to myself, ‘Can they deliver and could they be up to their jobs?’ ” She is very impressed with the commitment to put a penny on income tax to increase spending on education. She feels money is being wasted on the inspection system, and believes important issues are class size, nursery education, and treating teachers with a little more respect.
