Kendal College has been awarded pound;1 million from the Northwest Regional Development Agency to buy brownfield land next to its campus. The land, known as “Wildman Street”, will enable the college to develop its digital and creative curriculum while increasing FE and HE provision. The development will form part of a “campus”’ embracing Kendal Museum, the 14th-century Castle Dairy and the Allen Building to create a single facility.
