A new director has been appointed to lead the Scottish Centre for Information on Language Teaching and Research (SCILT), which has moved from Stirling University to Strathclyde University. Sarah Breslin, who was a project manager at the Scottish Qualifications Authority, took over this week from Joanna McPake, who has been appointed as Strathclyde’s vice-dean for knowledge exchange. The focus of Ms Breslin’s recent work at the SQA was on the new Scottish baccalaureates and A Curriculum for Excellence.
