FE minister John Hayes has called on UK businesses to promote informal learning at work, after 64 companies signed a pledge to improve workers’ skills.
The businesses, ranging from Google to Ginsters, signed up to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills’ “Cafe Culture” campaign, named for the idea of people meeting informally to share knowledge in cafes.
