Lesbian or gay gap

The Institute for Learning is without a lesbian or gay representative on its advisory council after no one came forward. Elections to the council, which starts work in January, saw 19 people appointed to seats for equality and diversity, for different aspects of FE and for the regions, but no candidate for the seat reserved on the basis of sexuality.
