LIBBY Purves rightly and exuberantly celebrates the victory of a tiny free school over establishment conformity. But has justice shone?

Libby says the school faces a legal bill of over pound;100,000. Since Summerhill has been found not guilty and the Department for Education and Employmen’s Notice of Complaint has been annulled, surely it is that august and somewhat silly body that should stump up? Even though they have wasted enough taxpayers’ money already in staging nine inspections in 10 years!
