I read again that teachers have been asked about how they intend to contribute to the General Teaching Council. This teacher hasn’t and neither have 10 of my colleagues though, rather puzzlingly, another one has.
I receive the magazine Teachers regularly from the Department for Education and Skills, so presumably they know of my existence and I registered as required some while ago for the GTC.
Maybe many others are in my position and that is why the numbers responding are so low!
