Letters extra: Bullying survey

https://www.tes.com/magazine/archive/letters-extra-bullying-survey

Since its inception in 1996, teachers and lecturers have formed the largest group of enquirers to my bullying advice line and website. Many careers have been lost due to bullying, with the situation often compounded by the teacher’s union refusing to provide representation and then denying the teacher access to the union’s legal resources.

I am conducting a union effectiveness survey and am asking teachers who have been dissatisfied with their union in cases of bullying and stress to contact me.
