I cannot believe the government at the moment. They keep saying they need new teachers, and I really want to be a teacher, but there is no course available.
I have my degree and other qualifications needed, I work with young people who are not in mainstream school and have worked with other young people over a period of time.
Despite all of this there is no course available in my area so the only options I have are to move to another part of the country or wait until I am 24 (I’m 22 now).
What is the government playing at? If there are many more people in my position I can understand why so many willing candidates would give up.
