Good luck to Cynthia Eubank in trying to make such a dramatic change to the school day (‘Why not finish at 2.30?’ June 28). We suggested a similar thing this year but it fell at the parent consultation hurdle. The need to modify existing after-school child care arrangements produced enough strong objections to force the abandonment of the project.
