I have been told that the School Curriculum and Assessment Authority intends to send level indicators into schools after the key stage 2 tests have been marked.

Perhaps the local authority will soon be setting the speed limit after the police have stopped the motorist, and the Government will draw the constituency boundaries after everyone has voted.

I wonder why teachers are cynical about league tables.
