Building industry leaders have welcomed the Government’s decision to retain a training levy on construction firms. Construction Industry Training Board chairman Hugh Try said: “No one can have any doubt of the seriousness of the potential skills shortages facing the industry, particularly in the short timescale that it is having to work to on millennium projects.”
