YOUR survey of teachers’ lives was interesting and backed the NASUWT’s view that workload was the major problem.
The relative contentment over pay may partly reflect recent progress we have made. It would have been interesting to have established the percentage of teachers who live in a double-income household. I believe that is also an important factor.
