“Exploring the English Literary Heritage” is the title of the annual conference of the Reading and Language Information Centre at Reading University on September 20. Geoff Fox, teacher, author and editor of Children’s Literature in Education, is among the speakers. Seminars include Kipling - hero or villain?, “classics” for infants, the oral tradition, and pre-20th century poetry in the primary school. Fee: Pounds 55.
