THOUSANDS of school pupils across London face disruption to their exams next month because of London Underground strikes. During the next two scheduled strikes on June 4 and 6, teenagers are due to sit GCSEs and A-level exams, including accounting, English lierature, law, maths and French. The Joint Council for General Qualifications said youngsters should make every effort to get to school but, in exceptional circumstances, schools can apply for a pupil to be allowed to sit the exam the following day.
