Lucky escape from accident

Thirty-six staff and pupils were treated in hospital for cuts and bruises after their coach crashed on the way back from a theatre trip last Saturday.

Chris Jackman, head of Hayle community school, in Cornwall, said: "The staff at the school have an overwhelming sense of relief that this accident was not more serious."
