Suitable for over-14s, it shows how to set up an eye-catching, mind-bending, public event, with a set of 20 simple tricks that demonstrate basic scientific principles. There is advice on locations (supermarkets, motorway service areas) and fundraising, but the main focus is on the tricks themselves. There are instructions for making an Alka-Seltzer rocket or a waterproof hanky, and explanations for levitating a lemon and shrinking a marshmallow.
