TEACHERS have topped a poll for the most drearily-dressed profession in Britain - even beating off competition from politicians and traffic wardens. In preparation for “Look Loud” day, this year’s fundraiser for the Royal National Institute for the Blind, 1,200 people were asked which profession most needed to brighten up the way they dressed for work A quarter of those polled picked teachers, followed by an 18 per cent vote for politicians and 13 per cent for traffic wardens. A spokesman for the charity said: “Teachers are great at brightening up young minds - but many of them could do with livening up their wardrobes. Maybe they should take some lessons from their trendier students.”
