A MALE contraceptive pill could be available in five years, said a team working at Edinburgh University, which claims to have sucessfully completed trials in Scotland, Sout Africa, China and Nigeria.
The pill contains desogestrel, a steroid that inhibits sperm production, and testosterone, to counteract the loss of sex drive.
