An environmentally friendly correspondent was touched by a missive from West Dunbartonshire which conjured up an idyllic pastoral image conveyed by an attractive logo and slogan: “West Dunbartonshire: from the shores of Loch Lomond to the banks of the Clyde,” it chirps.
Surely, says our correspondent, this could be extended to “taking in Renton, Alexandria, Vale of Leven and Clydebank”.
