Maths valued less than business skills

Almost two-thirds of adults believe that schools should instil attributes valued by employers such as teamwork, presentation skills and punctuality, according to a poll. Business skills were ranked as more important than a focus on core English and maths, according to the survey of 2,000 people carried out by education charity Young Enterprise.
