Medication can be a revelation for some ADHD sufferers

I wonder if we would be having the same discussion about schizophrenia? I am the parent of a child with ADHD and was diagnosed myself five years ago, aged 47.

The medication has been, and still is, a revelation and has changed my life dramatically. Life is still a struggle, but this is due to discrimination by the school or workplace or services who not only do not understand ADHD, but don’t care enough to find out. Visit aadd.org.uk for a support group for adults with ADDADHD.
