Minister trips up on his own words

IT is with increasing despair that I read letters from the Department for Education and Skills. The most recent one comes from Stephen Twigg scolding schools for their poor performance at key stage 2 national tests.

I decided to look at our value added but to no avail. The website listed in his letter - www.standards.gov.ukperformance - was incorrect (dfes was missed out). Proof-reading is an important element of KS2 English - obviously we have a minister who would not reach level 4.
