MORE than 500 schools across England are to receive up to pound;6 million between them over the next three years to help spread good practice and enhance teachers' professional development. The 48 "innovation networks" - part of the National College for School Leadership's networked learning communities programme - will have to match the government cash from their own resources. They met today at their first national conference in Nottingham.
