Moles doubt Agenda date

Sounds like the ongoing hoo-ha surrounding the non-publication of information about the funding gap between schools and colleges could rumble on throughout the summer.

Two moles have told me that the powers-that-be have had second thoughts about the timing of the Agenda for Change, which was due to be published alongside the report from the Learning and Skills Development Agency.

Instead of going out at the end of this month, I’m now being told it could even be released after the colleges go back, in September. At least that way there will be a few more people around to read it.

However, I have news for those little birdies who have been suggesting the July publication date is off. A very senior source indeed at the DfES says it is still going to be later this month.

“I would shoot your little birdies,” he helpfully suggests.
