More than one in 10 maths teachers is suffering from exhaustion

* More than one in 10 maths teachers is suffering from exhaustion, stress or both, a survey for the Mathematical Association revealed this week.

Excessive workload is the main reason maths teachers are leaving the profession, with many reporting that evenings and weekends were dominated by work, researchers at London University’s Institute of Education found.
