Primary pupils who made their own film, based on the classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers have had their work recognised at an international film festival.

The 16-minute film, directed by pupils at Miles Coverdale primary, west London, was one of 90 entries shown this week at the international young people’s film and video festival in Hanover. It tells the story of a 10-year-old girl who saves her school from a teacher who is obsessed with peas.
