Quality assurance should be included in the Government’s scheme for nursery vouchers, the Scottish Consumer Council has told MPs. The council is seeking an amendment to the Education (Scotland) Bill.
A complaints procedure is also needed, the council says, especially since the Government intends that nursery establishments will have only a “light touch” inspection.
