Sessions on multimedia literacy and writing screenplays are among the workshops available at the Picturing Literacy conference run by Film Education. The conference, aimed at key stage 2 and 3 teachers, will be looking at how the visual arts can be used to support literacy in the classroom. Speakers at the event include representatives from the Institute of Education, the National Gallery, Film Education and the British Film Institut. As well as the morning discussions, delegates will be able to take part in practical sessions using ICT.
