Museums scrap charges

Children can visit the museums and galleries of Wales free of charge for the first time in 12 years following a budget increase of pound;400,000 from the Welsh Assembly.

Since April 1, free access has ben available for under-19s to attractions that include the National Museum and Gallery in Cardiff, the Welsh Slate Museum at Llanberis, Gwynedd, and the Segontium Roman Museum in Caernarfon.
