A music teacher who sexually abused seven pupils during piano lessons at his home was jailed this week for two-and-a-half years. Dennis Fletcher, 62, was sentenced at Stafford Crown Court for the offences, which took place in the 1970s. Fletcher, of Belvedere Close, Baswich, Stafford, had admitted nine counts of indecent assault at an earlier hearing. He has been placed on the sex offenders register for life and prevented from working with anyone under the age of 18.
