National Association of Head Teachers

* Mick Brookes is a first-class leader of the National Association of Head Teachers. Will his members have the courage to boycott the ridiculous key stage tests? Such a boycott could lead to a further scaling down of the overprescriptive national curriculum, prevent teaching to the tests and allow teachers to be more creative with their lessons. Ask 11-year-olds why school is boring and the answer is always lack of time to do fun things. A real head at the helm of the NAHT obviously sees light on the horizon.

Thank goodness.
