National School Free Fruit Scheme

More than 80,000 children in England are now part of a pilot for the National School Free Fruit Scheme.

David Lee, head of Claregate Infant School in Wolverhampton, said: "It is going very well. The children have even had melons and paw-paws. If there is any left over they take it home."
