With Mearns primary in East Renfrewshire, settling down again to normal life after it raised the roof in the recent storms, its nursery class has had a ban slapped on the traditional rhyme “The Three Little Pigs”.

It’s the line “And he huffed and he puffed, and he blew the house down” that has caused the problem - especially as no one knows who would be responsible for any damage caused under PFI (we mean PPP, of course).
